For the new classroom learning experience I have learned that I like doing problems by myself and getting help from my teacher. I do not love always being in a group with people. I feel for the way that I learn I just need to copy stuff down and say all the formulas again and again. I don’t mind the new way that we are learning but I would rather learn in the first way that you taught us.

I think technology works very well in the classroom. We are able to find out things about the world that we could not do if we did not have computers. I like using the whiteboards rather than the smartboard just because I feel that I understand the topic more. I like being able to write out my work on the whiteboard.

Math in my life has always been a struggle. Ever since I was little math has always been hard for me. When I was in elementary school, the way that they taught math did not work well for me. Though in third grade I started Kumon, a company that teaches math by repetition. By taking Kumon I learned fractions and now I am confident in fractions. In middle school I had times where I was confident in my math skills and there were times where I wasn’t. Coming to Atlanta I have felt more confident in my math skill. I noticed that when I say the problem out loud to myself I do the problem better. I like to color coordinate my notes. I just have to practice, practice, practice. My math life has been good and bad.

My favorite method for solving quadratic equations is by using the quadratic formula. I like this method because this method makes more sense to me. I feel more confident using this method rather than using completing the square, extracting square roots, or by graphing it.

In this picture I see three waves in the Atlantic Ocean that create a pattern. These waves come from something that is very natural. The ocean being one of the most beautiful things in the world. The ocean is filled with salt water which is fresh, clean and pure. The waves are in unison. They will always be doing the same thing, waves will always have the same pattern, the same unity.

Elizabeth Ann Daggett born on July 25 1961 in Dubuque Iowa. She grew up in many different parts of the country living in certain states for only a year. She grew up in a time where drugs were becoming popular, magazines were thriving, and Wallstreet ruled the world. After attending college at University of Colorado at Boulder, she became an assistant to Polly Mellen, the fashion editor of Vogue.

Things that she did for fun:

-go out to clubs such as AREA,

-eat out at restaurants

-go hear live music,

- walks around the city,

-go on picnics at Central Park,

-most importantly, have fun!
